Local Plan

The new Local Plan will determine where and how housing goes in the rapid expansion of Cambridge. Currently FeCRA is trying to attend as many as possible of the Local Plan Hearings which are taking place at the Guildhall in Cambridge and at South Cambridgeshire Council’s headquarters in Cambourne.  FeCRA committee are few thus we urge those of our membership who are available during working hours, to boost our numbers by their sheer presence to outnumber the developer presence at these hearings.

To avoid missing a hearing, it is best to arrive at the beginning in the morning.

Hello FeCRA…I read about your efforts to keep the Cam at the hear of new Developments. Making Cambridge a happy city is such a great aim.

I feel that small children and young people could be given more attention – is this part of the Federations thinking? I could make some suggestions.

Great to hear this, Tom, yes, this is part of our thinking. We would welcome suggestions.
