Dear FeCRA Members

 

A number of items for your 2017 diary:-

 

4th January 2017 10:00-16:00 Guildhall: City Council Planning Meeting
including decisions on Murdoch House on Station Road and Brunswick House on
Newmarket Road, plus a number of 'minor' applications all over the city.

 

17th January 18:00-19:30: Forum on Tuesday, 17th January in Room No.128 at
Shire Hall, Castle Hill. (Please note the room change - I am told with an
oval table which is preferrable to rows.) Just a reminder to register for
this event where your questions about City Deal. The Forum will be divided
into a 

*         Part 1 on General Topics to do with City Deal projects to run from
18:00-18:45 (6:00-6:45pm), and a Part 2 on Parking from 18:45-19:30
(6:45-7:30pm). Part 1 will be handled by Tanya Sheridan but a CD Assembly
member also present. In

*         Part 2 attending will be Sonia Hansen and Nicola Gardner,
respectively Traffic Manager and Parking Policy Manager for Cambridgeshire
County Council, and Cllrs Kevin Blencowe and Jocelynn Scutt, respectively
Chair and Vice Chair of the Cambridge City Joint Area Committee Parking
Working Group. Graham Hughes Executive Director, Economy, Transport and
Environment at Cambridgeshire County Council has also been invited.

 

The format we discussed with Tanya Sheridan for both parts will be a brief
presentation followed by an informal, though structured, question and answer
session. Tanya told me she thinks its better if you put your questions to
her at the session. However we are sending your questions and topics to
Tanya beforehand so that she can be prepared. Could you let me have your
questions by the end of this year? The same applies on Parking. 

 

22nd March 18:30-21:00: FeCRA AGM 2017, Perse School Hall, Hills Road. We
invite you to join us for wine and canape's and our AGM. This will follow
last year's format with a key note speaker and a panel. A formal invitation
will come to you near the date.
