[Members] Western Orbital bus route - City Deal Consultation 8 Feb-21 Mar

A reminder of ongoing Consultations, most recent first. Although the Western
Orbital may not be in your immediate area, it may be of interest since the
impact of traffic decisions in one part of the city may have repercussions
elsewhere. 

 

Western Orbital bus route (consultation 8 Feb-21 Mar): There will be a
public meeting on the subject some time in early March; details to follow.
The basic "idea" is to provide a high-speed two-way route for buses to link
J11 (Trumpington Rd) and J13 (Madingley Road), possibly stopping at J12
(Barton Rd). Cycle way improvements are also proposed. The route will either
be lanes on the M11, or separated from it. This is a complex set of
proposals and we would urge you to attend the drop-in exhibition to learn
more and talk with City team members who will be there.
