Please find the invitation to the A1307 stakeholder briefing below. FeCRA and Hills Road Residents’ Association are very welcome to attend. Please feel free to circulate this to other Residents Associations in the south of the city who may be interested in these initial ideas. All information available at the briefing will also be made available on the website from Thursday, 16 June.

Dear Sir/Madam,

 

A1307, Three Campuses to Cambridge – Initial Ideas for bus and cycle links 

 

The Greater Cambridge City Deal is working to improve travel for people across the city region. We welcome your views on initial ideas for bus and cycle improvements in the A1307 area.

 

We would like to invite you to a briefing about these initial ideas on Wednesday 15 June 2016, 6-7pm in the Kreis Viersen Room, Shire Hall, Cambridge, CB3 0AP.

Consultation on these initial ideas will start on Thursday 16 June and continue until 1 August 2016 and include:

*         Potential Babraham Road Park and Ride Expansion

*         A new A11 Park & Ride

*         Linton Bus Priority

*         On highway and off highway ideas for linking Granta Park, Babraham Research Campus, Addenbrooke’s and Cambridge Biomedical Campus via a new A11 Park & Ride

*         Cycling and walking links connecting villages along the A1307.


The session will include a presentation and give you the opportunity to put your questions directly to the Project Manager.

Tanya,

FeCRA have not received any information about tomorrow's briefing on the A1307 event or invitations to attend or forward.  Strange since FECRA have been invited to attend other City Deal events in this area. Nor have the Hills Road RA of which I am Chair received invitations to attend this briefing as "stakeholders" either.  

 I understand members of Queen Edith's Forum have been invited. They are  a community forum but not a residents association.

There is huge and growing concern about these City Deal "stakeholder" briefing events, their terms of reference and the perceived limit on public engagement.

 

Please would you ensure invitations are sent ASAP.
